Airnergy at the MINI Challenge

Airnergy congratulates Alexander Burgstaller on winning the MINI Challenge 2004. The former touring car professional is supported by Airnergy through personal sponsoring and, with his win in the final race on the Salzburgring, ensured himself the championship title in the driver rating.

Burgstaller can thank his colleague Hubert Haupt – just a few metres from the finishing line the subsequent winner struggled with engine problems and slowed down. Haupt pushed Burgstaller forward and thus helped him win. “Without Hubert’s help I would not have made it” said Burgstaller, expressing his gratitude.

The members of the "WE LOVE/O2 can race" team included the presenter of "Anke Late Night", Anke Engelke, "Rent-a-Pocher" comedian Olli Pocher, media maker Peter Linke and "TAFF" presenters Miriam Pielhau and Dominik Bachmaier.

Airnergy supported the "WE LOVE/O2 can race" team as co-sponsor and was on site with several Drivair Airnergizers. The racing team were happy to use these to recharge their energy and concentration.

Probably the most exciting position battle of the Challenge was between Anke Engelke and Olli Pocher. In the comedian duel Pocher achieved the 22nd position while Anke Engelke finished in 23rd position.
