AIRNERGY signs up renowned figures for new Medical Board.

Six years after being launched in the market AIRNERGY, the respiratory air technology, has now gained a firm foothold in the world of medical science where all new developments are traditionally viewed with no little scepticism. This is made clear with the establishment of a new advisory board made up of renowned specialists. For the time being the board will be made up of two medical experts and a sports scientist who have achieved such levels of success with AIRNERGY that they are now keen to help the Hennef-based company in an advisory capacity. Their future role will extend beyond their current involvement in the AIRNERGY promotional film, in which the two well known medical experts recount the successes they have achieved using the technology. In so doing, they are sending out a clear message that traditional medical practitioners too are now willing to acknowledge the success of the respiratory air method.

The two doctors joining the Medical Board are: Dr. med. Wolfgang Grebe, Specialist in Internal and Sports Medicine. Dr Grebe studied human medicine in Berlin where he also trained as a specialist in internal medicine. He now practises in Frankenberg an der Eder. He sits as an honorary representative on a great many boards and has written articles for a number of learned journals. His honorary roles include membership of the board of the International Society of Prevention and he is also a member of many other professional associations. He describes his role with AIRNERGY as “helping the company achieve further success by giving them the benefit of my many years’ experience of working in medicine”. Dr Grebe also fully intends to introduce the benefits of respiratory air therapy to his own patients. “I see AIRNERGY as a process which brings about an improvement in oxygen quality and one which is indeed capable of reducing oxidative stress,” is how this acknowledged expert describes just one of the many positive effects of respiratory air therapy.

Dr. med. Klaus Erpenbach is a trained practitioner in General Medicine and Urology and also specialises in the fields of naturopathy, acupuncture, urology and orthomolecular medicine. He both practises and lectures in these fields. He is also a member of the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Quality Circle and is actively involved in pain therapy. Dr Erpenbach runs his practice with two colleagues in Erftstadt and since 1999 it has served as a reference practice for the general medicine department of the University of Cologne. In his role as “AIRNERGY doc” he will in future be on hand to provide specialist advice to colleagues, scientists and patients.

The new advisory board is completed by sports scientist Dr. Elmar Wienecke. He is director and co-founder of SALUTO, the Competence Centre for Healthcare and Fitness at the Gerry Weber Sportpark in Halle, Westphalia. He previously worked in the second division of the Bundesliga, becoming the youngest-ever football coach. As well as setting up an AIRNERGY Sports Medical Competence Centre on the same site, SALUTO has also fostered a preventive care project in conjunction with the German Handball Association, the North Rhine-Westphalia Heart and Diabetes Centre in Bad Oeynhausen and AIRNERGY. The aim is to reduce the incidence of injury amongst top athletes and at lower levels of sport. Dr. Wienecke has already examined and looked after more than 22,500 patients in Halle, including a number of top athletes. Consequently, he has an impressive range of data to draw on. This wealth of experience will make him the ideal contact partner in future on sports-related issues.

Dr. Wienecke has also already begun writing a book in which he will collate the results of his scientific studies on AIRNERGY. The book is due for publication early in 2007.

Through their involvement the three renowned doctors and scientists impressively demonstrate the levels of importance and acceptance which the innovative AIRNERGY technology has now acquired amongst practitioners of traditional medicine. With this array of scientific talent now at its disposal, the Hennef company has once again consolidated its position in the marketplace and the future looks bright indeed for all areas of the business.
